Ecatepec – women
Ecatepc is one of the most dangerous places in the world if you are a woman. In the last four years 1,258 women were killed in this city close the capital of Mexico. I was invited by the authorities to run a project where four local professional actresses brought to life six true stories of women whose lives had been cut out of this world. Lucy, Julia, Mariana, Adela, Fabricia, Jennifer are the names of these women.
Together we dedicated our work to these women who no longer had voices to share not only their terrible experiences, but also their wishes and hopes, and their feelings for their loved ones. By using the Theatre of Yes, we found beauty when horror was the protagonist, where darkness covered everything..
