No more drama II – young women
Acting Now presents an original theatre performance by the No More Drama group. A group of young women in Cambridge brought together through their interest in theatre and their desires to be heard.
How do young women navigate their way through a world that is still so male-dominated, where internal pressures are even higher than the external ones, and expectations and self-image dictate one’s choices?
The play is a self-reflective account by a group of young women from diverse backgrounds and different walks of life, that have come together to illustrate experiences that connect them and commonalities they found both surprising and frustrating.
