Presas – Los Mutantes Germany
Mutantes is a Latin company based in Sâasbruken, in the south west of Germany. Every year this theatre company performs a play by a Latin writer. In 2020 a play by Verónica Fernández and Ignacio del Moral was chosen.
The play was called Presas (imprisoned women) and Marina was contacted to help with the creative process. How can the language of the Theatre of Yes be adapted to a proper script? How can this language support the script by recreating the emotions and the actions of the protagonists? How can freedom, one of the principles of this language comply with strict theatre guidelines?
