Tómame de la mano – the elderly Mexico City
In June 2019 Marina received an award from an Iberesecena for a project with the elderly in Mexico city. The enthusiastic participants, most of whom had never done any drama before, reconnected with their bodies and explored new futures. They devised a play about flourishing after a dark period, rediscovering their femininity and supporting their female neighbours by creating a chorus. Therefore solidarity, lightness and acceptance were the protagonists of this performance.
